The September update added edge detection with the DG-LAB Civet. It's in beta because I've built it with very limited knowledge and data. I developed what I thought was best for its integration into Eudaimonia, but I'd love to hear your feedback.
If you own a Civet and use it in Eudaimonia, please use this thread to share anything about your experience.
What I'd love to know:
- Does it detect your edges at the right moment? Too early, too late, not at all?
- Do you get false positives (stimulation cut when you were not close)? In which situations?
- Which mode do you use, Fight or Relaxed, and which settings ended up working for you?
- How did the calibration protocol go? Was anything unclear or awkward?
- Does the detection change during a long session?
- Your setup, if you are comfortable sharing it: sensor placement, device(s) used, type of stimulation.
The easiest way to help: run the calibration protocol and play with the "Test" mode on the Edge Detector page. It gives me more data to tune the algorithm.
Ideas, comparisons with the DG-LAB app, or experience with other edge detection tools are very welcome too.
"It works great" is also very welcome! Thank you!
