General settings - Sadism , only 1 or 5

In settings I can only set sadism to 1 or 5.
Is that how it should function?

GoodBoy Yes. Sadism impacts the frequency of punishments, make some scripts / choices harder and make the pain stim longer in normal mode.

In EstimAI, its only impacts the duration of pain shocks.

Why no setting 2,3,4 ? Only 1 and 5.

do you see the little up and down arrows if you mouse over the field, you should be able to use those to go up and down

No arrows, I use the keyboard.
